Christina Crerar, a singer with a sound that traverses eras and tosses scat lines about with ease, is the newest addition to the Blue Sky 5 lineup. As a self-taught teenager from South Jersey, she surprised everyone by landing leading roles in a prestigious New Jersey theatre from her very first audition. She went on to study music in college in the Washington DC area and became increasingly interested in jazz. She's since toured the US and beyond in leading roles with a variety of musicals, cabarets and bands of all sizes; entertaining for Presidents, foreign heads of state, Broadway and television stars, and more. When she's not singing, teaching voice or arranging music for her vocal trio, Chris can be found tucked in a cushy chair in the sun with a good book. A life-long fan of 20s-50s music (and fashions - she's also a vintage stylist), Christina is pleased to add her voice to the considerable talents of Blue Sky 5.
