It seems that his experience in both the music industry and financial world have been a perfect fit in managing, promoting and mixing Blue Sky 5 live shows.

“Now that I’m fairly entrenched in the financial world, I never thought I’d be involved with another band to the extent I am with Blue Sky 5… Their music is captivating. When they hit the stage and the Swing dancing begins, an excitement fills the room. All of a sudden people’s eyes light up and they grin from ear to ear. Even the people who are not dancing are moved by the constant ebb and flow of the dancers reacting to the music and the band feeding off the audience. Being involved makes all the work worth while.”

His constant positive energy in promoting the band has contributed to their rapid success. Jim’s philosophy is simple: “People need an escape from the stress in their lives. We all need to interact with others and relax. If we can provide an environment for people to recharge their spirit and enjoy themselves for a few hours, we’ve done a good job”.

When Jim isn’t working with Blue Sky 5, he enjoys travel, swing dancing, windsurfing, mountain-biking and other outside activities.
